Mike Perkins has gained notoriety for his work on various Marvel titles such as House of M, The Stand and Union Jack. Here's a page from the Marvel Holiday Special 2005 (page 8). The story had an interesting visual effect. Mike posted the following comment regarding the Holiday Special on the Marvel Comics website: "It's not indicative of my normal art style, as we decided to pursue an engraved look, but all-in-all it's a fine example of the fun and enjoyment of comics."
